2025 Draft Rumours (ie The Pinch Of Salt Thread)

"hybrid of AJ Green and Mike Evans." (I suspect over-hype)

Worst case scenario

This reminds me of “It’s like a BMW/Tesla hybrid” about the Chevy Malibu and zebra corner asking if she was high.

Titans Ward 1, Browns Sanders 2, things would get really interesting.

I think 3-5 is a very interesting place to be in this draft in my mind I’m trading for multiple early picks,

Trading down to 19 or 20 and getting Golden.

I don't like the idea of trading out of the opportunity to draft Carter or Hunter.

That sounds like a clear case of smoke up every other teams asses lol

You like all the YAC he got on the first play....you know the one where the CB fell down.

If true perhaps Tennessee would select Hunter but either way this benefits us.

Edit: I'm lacking sleep and thus the dream of Carter falling to 4 needs to be squashed lmao

From Albert Breer:

Another winner we mentioned earlier in the week was LSU OT Will Campbell, who crushed his meetings. He added to that in the workout Sunday, running under 5.0 in the 40 at 319 pounds. Even with the arm length concern, I could, again, see him going in the top five. Another linemen who I heard blew folks away in meetings—Alabama OG Tyler Booker. I had one veteran exec tell me Booker’s was the best combine interview he’d ever had with an offensive lineman.

"The one team I heard that DID like Sanders was Cleveland. They like Ward as well, but they would be good with ether. So, despite the Browns being the current DraftKings betting favorite to draft Travis Hunter, everything I heard was that Cleveland is going QB. And they are good with either guy.

I’ve heard the Patriots WILL do whatever they can to get a real “WR1” for Drake Maye and the new coaching staff. I heard they are knocking on all doors, seeing what they can possibly trade for, and one person told me they heard the Patriots called Philly asking if A.J. Brown was available. Shrug emoji on if that’s true, or what Philly’s answer was, but this much seems certain: New England will aggressively try to upgrade its wide receiver room this offseason."

If 1st rumor is true than that should solve rumor 2. Lol that's assuming Hunter plays WR. I would limit him to redzone primarily.

Todd McShay goes over part of his mock on his podcast. Wants you to pay for the whole thing. A couple notes though.

Had Hunter to the Patriots at 4. QB's at 1/2. His partner Muench said he thinks Patriots should go OT even if Hunter falls. He prefers Membou, but you need to be sure he can play LT.

Has Egbuka falling to Rd 2.

Most interesting is that he feels the Bucs are the best spot to move up with. He had the Giants moving up to 19 frpm 34 to get Dart. He projects their #2(34) their #3, and a #3 in 2026. Just pointing out rhe value discussed to move up, in case we have to move back into the 1st for an OT.
