2025 Draft: RBs

Surprising. Former UConn player who transferred to Michigan State. Good kid.

I just pulled up this nearly 40minute highlight video and as it always seems to happen I found another prospect that caught my eye.

Evan Morris TE 92 was in on a lot of the lead blocks. I had a hard time identifying him because he transferred to UCF and at their Pro Day he tied for first overall among all players with 31 reps on the bench press.

Remember his name post draft.

I think they're right about him. His lack of breakaway speed caps his value. I still think he's the best receiving RB in the draft but, certainly, the Patriots seem to be looking at speed at RB which makes me think he won't be for us sadly.
How's his Pass Blocking??

I think we're going for Blocking which he Excels at... I wouldn't count him out. Our OL Needs all the help it can get and Josh McDaniels RB's have to be very good in that area.

I just realized that I forgot to share the video. again look for 92

As much as I like the small sample size of Simmons, there was also some things to ponder from this video. Unless you really watched the San Diego st games or the small sample of games from him up until Oct 21st at Ohio St how do you possibly as a fan draft this guy 10-15? They mention a cupcake schedule, not playing elite teams or a matchup vs Penn St DE Carter. You are basically banking on Simmons with very little to go on aside from a very serious injury and tape vs some scrubs. I do it because I’m going to gamble on all the intel and reports and hope for the best LT in the draft.

I guess the best argument would be what does your eyes tell you? He shows very well and his size and athleticism do stand out. I just wish we had more to work with. I would gather Vrabel may have an in as far as how far along he is in his rehab?

Can’t help but think Vrabel’s ties to Ohio St are going to land us Henderson or Judkins.
If they end up going Campbell or Membou at 4, I'm thinking Henderson is the guy at 38. Adds some juice to the backfired, pass catching and blocking chops, and obviously the Vrabel/OSU connection.

If i had to guess right now, Campbell and Henderson are our top 2 picks in 2 weeks.

Agreed. I’ve been mocking this for a while now.

Five star kid at LSU used sparingly but his measurables are good. This is the kind of player Belichick would have drafted in round seven.

John Emery has good size and elite speed. Very little production. But what’s there shows promise. Almost 25 tho.

He has entered the transfer portal and is looking to stay in college despite being a 5 yr senior.
