2025 Coaching rumors

I am not for this or against this.

I stated that the Pats are the new Jets.

Which is 100% true.

The new Pats are structured just like the Jets. The HC is separate from the GM and both sucking up to the Big Kahuna Thunder Kraft. Eventually, 1 will get the axe and all the blame for losing and no playoffs as Kraft desperately tries to remain relevant. The Jets talk about the past and live in the was. Just like the Pats now.

After the last loss, Pats players were laughing it up in the locker room. Evidently, Maye was upset with that attitude. The culture in Pats world has changed.
Let's see, Woody Johnson wanted the younger HC candidate to take over for Parcells and he failed miserably at it.

Even if Mayo is working out. At least he didn't resign on a napkin.

Again, nothing about the Pats is like the Jets. When is the last time Kraft fired a HC 5 weeks into the regular season then fired his GM with 6 weeks left?

I get you hate that Belicheck was fired, and don't like the PR Kraft did. But Kraft is one of the best owners in the NFL and he managed to keep Brady and Belicheck together which brought an additional superbowl.

Our HC did schedule a sit down interview with his friend in the local media to let everyone know he sucked this year but is going to be better next year. Hard to believe that interview happened without Thunder's approval. Tunes, it is weird stuff.
He’s a terrible coach. Once his run at HC here is over it’s time to hire a real coach. I’m not sure who that is but I’m sure there is somebody out there who can do better than Mayo.

"Better than Mayo" is a low bar, easily cleared

Well, Kraft undermined Belichick first with Brady and second with Mayo. He didn't back Parcells or Petey in deference to Grier. So, he made a good decision giving power to Belichick and it worked out pretty well. Then he made a bad decision rescinding it with Brady and we have slowly gone downhill. I don't see Kraft any different than the others. He made ONE good decision. Should have stayed in his massage parlor.
