It's harder to pick games in the playoffs. The teams are better, so all of them can come up with unexpectedly good performances. All the teams have strengths, and you just don't know which strength will prevail. It's all been talked to death, of course, and we are left with a perfectly balanced array of fears and hopes, it seems. Sports in this respect really is like life more broadly.

If the issue - everybody's boogeyman - is Houston's D, what then? They are a "they do what they do and they do it well" defense, one hears. If that is so, shouldn't a brilliant fella like Josh be able to turn their predictability to his advantage?

I'm going to go with that as tipping the balance. Josh will script for Drake a couple of wise strategies and a few brilliant tactic suited to a few particular moments; and Drake will implement them. It may take a while for Josh to suss it all out, so we may fall behind, but it will turn in our direction as the game goes on.

Our D has to turn Stroud into a puddle of confusion. I think they can do that.

(I have a lurking suspicion the Pat's could really roll, but I think that's fanboy delusion talking. It'd be fun to be wrong about being wrong about that suspicion.)
