At this point I’d take a 22 year old Drake Maye as a player/coach over Thunder’s boy #FireMayo. Way more of a leader and that’s saying a lot.

Mayo saved his job today. He looked like he was actually coaching today, no deer in the headlights. I would have rather they got their asses kicked TBH.
He saved his job?

AVP’s offense went up 14-0 and Mayo/Covington’s defense gave it right back.

Fire AVP!

Moral victory my ass, they lost in a big part due to bad coaching, no emphasis on ball security, no football smarts (Mapu), and terrible defense and OL again.

There's very little positive here, in the opposite, they are building a perennial loser team who loses even when it shouldn't

Mayo's postgame presser: "These guys have been coming to work ... blah, blah, blah ... "

SINCE WHEN DID SIMPLY "COMING TO WORK" MEAN SOMETHING ABOVE AND BEYOND WHEN YOU SUCK?!
Since he learned how to coach football by being given an undeserved corporate manager job in the height of the DEI boom.

Problem is that’s not how Kraft looks at it. Kraft sees a team that was competitive on the road in a game they had nothing to play for. Kraft’s looking for a reason not to fire Mayo.

I’m ok if Rhamfumble is elsewhere in 2025. Let some other team figure out why he can’t hold on to the ball.

As for the coaching, I'm shocked that there are compliments.

Yes, the fake punt was great but...

3rd and inches and you don't call a timeout late in the 4th qtr on a crucial series?

Then you punt it? That's bad.

As for AVP... 3rd and inches with 3 1/2 minutes left and down by 2 scores and you... run it? For a loss?

Im not going to even mention the backward throw in your own end zone!!!

Folks, it's a coaching problem.

Look at the play. If you understand football it’s clear. If you don’t understand football listen to people who do.

If you understood football you'd also know they were on the damn 2 yard line.

But obviously you don't. And that's ok. That's why you're here.

I’ve never understood how sucking but not giving up equals a feather in the coaches cap.
It’s the coaches job to not get to the point where giving up is expected

I think there’s a big difference between going back and forth all game, and going up 14-0 early while the Bills are still asleep and then giving up 24 unanswered points before getting a ref-assisted garbage time score
