Tale of 2 Halves.
It's the proof of an unprepared, conditioned-to-lose team. You're up, you're surprising a far superior team on the road. So, instead of honing in and getting sharper, they just throw it away with continued juvenile mistakes.

The obvious weak link on this team - is NOT the OL (they're 2nd), it is the DL. The front 7 is the worst I've ever seen on a Pats team.
Their run blocking, horrendous tackling, invisible edge-setting, no pressure is league worst.

It's a moral victory. I'll take it. Maye had his ups and downs. Great first half. Poor second half capped by the bad INT.

However he redeemed himself in the closing minutes of the 4th quarter with a really nice TD drive.

And the great news is we move into the #2 overall draft spot thanks to Mac Jones losing to the Raiders.

For his next trick, Mac only needs to win one of the next two games to take the Jaguars completely out of the running for our #2 draft pick.

One misstep and we could be drafting sixth. Or even ninth.

We're not good enough to beat the LA Chargers or the Bills who are our remaining 2 opponents.

Chargers have everything to play for in week 16.

Bills in week 17 are the only team who might let their foot off the gas but they hate our guts so I think they still play to win.

I remain optimistic we can hold onto this #2 draft pick.

I’m hating that Rhamfumble Stevenson extension more and more. Wonder what the dead cap hit would be of letting him go…

I took **** saying how dumb it was to extend a player coming off his worst year with one year left. He's actually done a lot better than I expected, but he still had no business getting paid what he got.

It's a $6M dead cap hit in 2025.
$3M in 2026.
$0 in 2027.

I'm thinking two OTs and Abdul Carter in the first two rounds in 2025 plus another 1st round pick in 2026. Some team will pay a king's ransom for the 1st or 2nd pick this year.

That's not how it works. The protocol is for the official to look at the playclock, then look down to see if the ball is snapped or not. If it's even in the process of being snapped it counts.

Maye needs to do some serious deeper study on situations and game management. We had 3 delays, and escaped 2 with TO's and the late encroachment penalty on Bills.
Also - if that wasn't a coaching point, AVP should be fired - to NEVER throw a lateral to the RB when you're at your own goal line!! That stupid error cost the game.

Refs allow it if they snap it right after that because the refs are watching both the players and clock.

Teams around the NFL get away with it all the time.

Oh Stevenson is dogshit. I never wanted to keep him. Gibson is more efficient but for some reason Stevenson has over 100 more carries

Stevenson is not a lead rb. Never was. He has fumbled too much this year

Game- no. 2nd half maybe his worst half. Doesn’t help to have an unqualified buffoon as his HC.
