this is the icing on the cake. How on earth could they lose like that ? Lets see how Mayo tries to spin this ? What one liner he comes up with ? He and all the staff need to go . They have no awareness of any situations . The D is atrotious , the O has it's moments but the line is terrible with penalties etc . I am starting to resent Kraft so much, he is solely responsible for this mess . As weeks go by, I feel no one will want to come here, even Maye can't be n attraction for them, he has only won 1 game . I know he has got crap around him but prospective coaches will look at the entire picture, not just the QB. This team is such a mess, it will a long time to start competing again and that might be after wasting 3-4 years of Maye .

Kraft hired an inexperienced, unqualified coach, without a search, because he bonded in Israel with Mayo and, at this stage in his life, apparently cares more about his commitment to Mayo than the team’s customers and fans.

Rham is terrible. I said it. Totally lopsided stats - 18car for 73yds.
But, 39yds on that 1 fluke on first drive.
So, he's really 17car for 34yds - 2yds/rush is not acceptable.

Gibson has so much more - 7car for 62yds - almost 9yds/rush

Not sure that I’m raging to blame the coaches at the end. The players couldn’t make the fourth down stops at the very end.

I do blame coaching for the first half penalties.

Mayo challenges the trap, they win the game. He's an idiot.

EDIT: After further review and detailed consultation with the NFL rulebook (prompted by Rob's post I believe, can't remember), I retract this statement. With the angle we have, there's no conclusive evidence that the ball hit the ground when it first contacted his hands, and that is the critical point. If the ball had contacted the ground, the second contact with the ground which resulted in the ball shifting would have made it incomplete. The ball *can* shift on contact with the ground as long as control is maintained, provided it did not contact the ground previously during the catch.

I called 25-24 the minute they converted the 4th and 3 in their own territory. There was zero chance we were stopping them on 4 downs. Im pretty sure with this defensive staff we’ll never win a game like this unless rhamondre or maye has the ball last and can pull a miracle off, i certainly don’t trust the ol or receivers to help them.

I give mayo one more year tops with an upgraded roster to see if he can turn it around, with or without covington. At least the offense was making some strides, just key breakdowns and penalties still an issue.

You can't risk 2025 being another throw away year. If they had a bad QB, I'd say yes. But they need to improve the coaching and personnel for Maye.

#1. running Rham when it isn't working AND Gibson is.

#2.Not selling out to stop the run. Get gashed in the passing game if need be but getting run on is pathetic.

#3. Just seeing Polk do nothing is starting to piss me off.

Id prefer the staff gone now, but thats not happening. The best we can hope for is after year 2

One way to guarantee you get a replay... is to throw your flag.

Worst thing that happens is you lose your challenge, which won't matter since you're less than 2 minutes away from the 2 minute warning where challenges can't be used anymore anyway. You'd also lose a timeout, but they had all 3, and 1 of 3 timeouts was a lot less important than stopping the Colts' game winning drive.

I was a little concerned to see our DBs getting blown up in their attempts to shoot the gaps (Dugger on the Richardson 4th & 2 IIRC comes to mind immediately, went sideways airborne) and the LBs just cannot disengage from blocks at all. The string out to force the run out of bounds towards the end of the game was fantastic but I feel like that's a once-a-game sight when it used to be much more common under Belichick. Not sure if that's a technique thing, coaching points, or bad communication to get guys in the right positions.

I thought the AVP offense looked decent. I thought the WRs did a good job today. I don’t know why the OL are still getting penalties and that’s not being fixed. Someone has got to have an answer on D because that was not a good showing.

Is why I've felt all in all this season the defense has been with a doubt the biggest failure. 5 guys from the BB tree mayo-covington-pelligrino- Brian - Hightower. Just an object failure!

Don’t know why Roy hasn’t been active he looked good stopping the run.
But this coaching staff is Ass 9, Polk should be cut Thornton should of been developed.

Drake has to play against so many obstacles his HC, his OL, his defense, his WRs.

Horrible OLine is one thing but Rham's indecisiveness is another thing. He has no explosiveness.

RBs have a short shelf life in general. Giving him a big contract considering the state of the team was idiotic. They are all idiots.
