I know the Pats didn't score 20 points but it felt like they dominated the game.

Maye isn't the most accurate passer but hopefully that will improve.

Can someone, anyone, please teach Drake Maye how to slide. Do it soon or his career will be over before it starts.

It should be a nice change this week without all the extra Mayo nays in every thread.

Remember the days when Bledsoe would stand tall in the pocket, but throw a laser right to the MLB?

That would drive me nuts.
I couldn't take it when he'd throw those little swing passes to a RB who'd have to turn around or even stop to get it.

You guys are improving week by week. Maye might be better than Love soon.
QBs take a while to figure out but I like what I've seen of Maye. We're hearing that he's a quick learner.

The NFC is looking tough for you guys in the North. It looks like there could be as many as two division winners (the South and West) with worse records that could knock one of you out of the picture. If I had to guess which team that could happen to it would be the Vikings. Their QB isn't so hot.

I honestly don’t think we’re that good. Looking at our schedule we won’t win too many.

This was the same trap posters fell into when they beat crappy teams with Bill. The real test will come against Buffalo, Miami and Arizona who can put up points. Chicago is trending downward.

How will the offense respond when the defense can’t keep the game close? That was their Achilles heel during the 2020-2023 seasons. Once teams but up a 10+ point lead, the Pats were dead to rights. The offense still isn’t built to score quickly.

The rams will be very tough too next week. Finally healthy now and playing well. Its a tough schedule to close out, hard to see more than 2 wins there. Just hope they are competitive at least

They are building. Good comeback last week, then failed in o.t. Love them using 2 TE sets. Adding screens and a decent running attack today. More nice Throws from Maye. I'm ok. Keep winning, F the draft, REBUILD!
Absolutely F the draft
We need to start winning and learning how to win
Rather the winning mentality than a loser mentality

Boutte has really come on and he's drawing the safety over the Top. Sign of a very good or feared WR he's only going to get better.

Or a sign that he is the only one we have that can go over the top. Next year let's hope that issue is fixed.

The Bears LG gave off James Ferentz vibes. But without the brain. Just awful.

The big difference is that Drake Maye is a lot more mobile than Bledsoe ever was. I still hold hopes he is going to continue to improve. He looks like way more than just stand in the pocket and throw it far QB.

Good for you Sammy, hope you enjoy it.

As do we all. Our Sammy is a Cool Cat.
If he was a dog we might go so far as to say he's a Good Boy but we can't 'cause... well... cat. But then that's the thing with felines, they'd rather be cool anyway. I'm sure our Sammy doesn't mind that we like him but I'm fairly certain he'd be mildly annoyed if we failed to appreciate his style. He's a cat after all, they have their prioroties.

It shows you that a good OL is actually more important than star diva WRs. Can we please sign/draft a stud LT next year pretty please?
Not factual. The Browns had one of the greatest LTs to ever play the game and they did nothing and routinely had one of the worst offenses.

It's takes both having an oline good enough to open running lanes and give the QB time to throw without pressure. And skilled enough RBs to run through the lanes and receivers capable of getting open.

It's not rocket science, you need good players across the entire roster to compete. If you have a HOF QB you can overcome some roster deficiencies like the Chiefs winning with terrible OTs.

For all the hate Wolf got for not Signing T Smith, the Jets offense has been terrible and are tied with the Pats at 3 wins.
