We have exactly ZERO idea of draft needs before seeing who we sign in free agency.
We're not signing a top LT and a #1 WR in free agency, because there haven't been any of those available over the last 5 years.

What is your point? Obviously, with $140M and top draft picks, we should be able to do all of these.

For me, I think that center is a lower need than DT, LB and CB.
LB is a huge need for this team. Right now, we have none. Tavai is playing horribly.

I hope we go after Tee Higgins this year if the Bengals don't Tag him in FA. He's not a true #1 but a bonifie #2.

Sadly his hamstring makes me nervous about throwing him a bag. He hurts it every year, and it's getting worse. Freak injuries is one thing, this here is a bad hammy.

Even with the hammy he's still leagues better than any WR on this Roster. Higgins would be sick no pun with Maye.

Not having Pop pretty much the whole game hurt.

Also it felt like we never had the ball. I think we had literally one possession in the 3rd quarter.

Its really ironic the offense used to be the one hampering the defense now its the other way around. Think we would look alot better offensively if the defense could get them the ball back consistently.

18 or more Runs in a row at one point: the Jags really shortened that game. Boy we are soft but Mayo already said that.

We need some Starting caliber Defenders in 25.

I stated my point through my comment, were you not taught reading comprehension?

Yep. Some nice options at cb and dl in free agency. Im a little iffy on the edge options- reddick and sweat look like the top dogs there. Lb you have greenlaw but hes coming off an Achilles. Id love to be able to add one impact guy each at cb/dl/edge/lb. We have the money to, hopefully the options are good.

The Pats RB had a total of 20 yards rushing at less than 2 yards per carry. Much better than you expected? Your expectation for the OL is 10 yards rushing per game?

We should be OK for what? OK to score 16 points a game and OK to finish 1 - 16?
The jags stopped the run.

The passing game would have been much more effective if the WR's played better. My point is if the WR's played better, we could have more points through the passing game. The goal is points, not yards running.

BOTTOM LINE
If the WR's played better against the worst secondary in the NFL, we might have score 10 more points. We would have passed lots more.
I agree that 16 point is not acceptable. I believe that the OL played well enough to score 7-10 points through the air.

Obviously, the Defense was the worst that we've seen.

In that case, we will be trading for at least one of them.

I expect us to trade for a WR and to sign one of best LT's available and perhaps a RT.

It is simply NOT acceptable to expect to draft two tackles who will start and compete well as rookies.

Tavai seems to be playing horribly since he is playing alone, without an effective second LB next to him. Bentley was a huge loss.

It just doesn't matter at all if they're not doing their jobs.

The defense performed pretty well the last 2 years.

next man up, talent not required

So what if Barmore and Bentley are out. The next man up should be able to replace them.

NOT!
==========
Wolf CHOSE not to add quality players to compete at DT and LB. He CHOSE to keep Austin instead of Byrant or Wade.

But this rebuild is going as planned. Wolf chose to wait on serious additions until next off-season. [Of course, he might have kept mack Wilson and Bryant or Wade]. The depth at LB and DT is really bad. Wolf was fine with that.
===========
OK, let's focus on 2025 and 2026 and 2027. The injured will be back. And we shall see how Wolf spends $140M of cap money.

No the next man up just doesn’t replace Barmore and Bentley. Yeah you could insert a player out of necessity, but there’s nobody near the equivalent of the talent they bring.

Every team has injuries and of course you are supposed to replace them.

This is going as planned? Really? Wtf is the plan?
Has anyone in this organization shown you they know how to evaluate, select and coach players?

Suddenly the much maligned Bentley gets injured and becomes **** Butkus.
