Man, I don’t think I can take much more of this ****. This was somehow more bearable with Bill last year, even despite Mac being so bad. Maye is lightyears better and yet this is somehow more painful.

BB was a great coach, so it always felt like he could make the improvements needed. Mayo has not proven to be able to make improvements so the initial product is the finished product

Great post. Maye is a wonderful QB and I am guessing, like me, you don't want to see Maye's talent wasted, so it is more painful.

Pats/Wolf got Polk at 37 instead of a first round caliber CB prospect Cooper DeJean who went to Philly at 40. He would have looked great in a Pats uniform as a potential lockdown CB1

I can stomach a bad team playing good fundamental football. They’re not even doing that.

This same roster would be at least 6-6 with any other HC & DC. Those 2 are hopeless.

Mayo said it all when he said "the first quarter we're just trying to get a feel for the game"...

Well, the rest of the NFL is trying to score and win, Mayo!
because you don't win very often when starting down 14 or more.
They went 4-13 with Bill Belichick a year ago and the line and defense weren't as injured last year.

The 2024 patriots are who they show us they are each week. Nothing about today should be surprising. They are a 32nd ranked roster with a terrible OL, terrible defense, and poorly coached. Even the Panthers hung with the defending champs down to the wire. We are the worst team in the league and it's not even close!
It’s close. There are really bad teams in the league. But NE can make an argument.

To me, the most alarming part is the utter lack of players on the roster who are worth keeping.
