Honestly, I see the sense in starting Maye here... he’s gonna have some of those first game jitters, you may as well do it against a team you’d probably lose against no matter what. That way those jitters wouldn’t be make-or-break as far as winning the game or not like they might’ve been against Miami or Jacksonville. If his random INT loses the game for them then the team sentiment would be a lot more negative about him than it will be in this game where the loss will be 80% due to the defense being unable to keep up with the Houston offense.
