I remember when everyone here was saying TB sold out for a SB and it would take them years to be relevant again. They emptied the dead cap hit caused by Brady this season and signed Baker. Now they're back in the playoffs for the 4th year in a row. They still have a bunch of talent and have the 9th most cap space.

I also remember how everyone used Brady's dead cap as an excuse for the Pats not being able to do anything in 2020. Three years later, the team got worse and missed the playoffs again.

Assuming Kraft did a straight firing, probably. If it was some kind of buyout situation for a lesser amount then it might not be subject to offsets. Also depends what salary they pay him in 2024 specifically.

This is the healthiest the Bucs have been this late in the season since 2020. They fixed their OL that was atrocious last season by shifting their All Pro RT to LT, and their avg LG to RT.

Shaq Barrett, Lavonte David, Carlton Davis, Jamel Dean, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Vita Vea, Devin White, Antoine Winfield, Tristan Wirfs, Ryan Jensen.

All these players are homegrown, all of them were there in 2020.

They lost Suh (who was old) and Donovan Smith (who sucked).

They had a lot of talent already there.

This wasn't anything like what the Rams did with all the players they brought in from elsewhere.
