If Bears can get 2 #1's for moving down, what can we get for our #3 pick?

If we can get a mid AND a lower 1st rounder - we absolutely have to. We need to NAIL our first 3 rounds.
I mean, like get 3 surefire starters (out of 4 or 5 picks) for THIS year. And it doesn't have to be a QB.
If we end up with a franchise LT, a WR1 or WR2, a difference maker TE or DB or RB... that's a win.

Neither of the top 3 QB's are going to be winning their first year whether Chi, Was, AZ, NYG...
And certainly not with the the Pats.

Why does winning anything next season matter. It’s not going to get them a Lombardi?. What matters is laying the foundation for their long term success, and getting the QB at the top of the draft is what matters most. But if you would rather just be mediocre for years to come you are welcome to that. Maybe they can get Mason Rudolph from the Steelers? That would be awesome.

I’m telling you, if Guyton is there in the 20’s the should really move up to get him. He’s going to end up being a franchise tackle.

I'm absolutely praying Guyton lasts till #34. But I'm not optimistic. Him and Christian Jones, the OT from Texas are looking very good at Senior Bowl practices.

I don’t know who you asked this of but my answer is trade up into the 2nd half of the 1st round and take Tyler Guyton.

I ask the question frequently, most don't bother replying. I honestly don't watch enough CFB, or good enough to scout them, so at least you have an answer!

of course, the more I think about it, we are going to probably need to draft a RT high too (I know everyone wants to resign Onwenu, but if we go WideZone with the Shanahan/McVay tree he very well may not be a fit.

Getting the right QB matters, not a QB; I have very little hope in Daniels, I hope he blows away the combine and Washington drafts him.

I agree.

As history has shown with the highly drafted QBs, wanting, and getting, are two different things.

The #3 pick does not guarantee a franchise QB.

Far from it.

But it SHOULD guarantee a franchise player, if you let the draft come to you and don’t force it.

A report mentioned that Denver wanted to trade up for Williams.

What could we get from Denver to let them draft a QB at #3?

I’m not sold on him either. It would be great if Washington drafts him because I like May. If not, hopefully the Giants or Falcons fall in love with him and offer us a haul.

Didn't someone just post that McVay ditched zone blocking this year?

Yeah I saw that, but who knows who our OC will be, and what the scheme will look like, I was basing the comment on what Shanahan/McVay have based the O around since they took over teams.

It would be a lot to go down to 12...but worry is that by alot of what I've read there are less then 12 bluechips in the draft....falling too far and missing one of them would be a travesty.

As long as he doesn't turn out to be Zack Wilson or Trey Lance.

23 yo wr who wins with physicality against younger DBs and has trouble separating. I don't get the hype. I wouldn't take him early.
