If we can get Aiyuk for 34, are the Pats waiting to see who may slide?

Hope they can squeeze another pick out SF, like 4th and Aiyuk for 34.

Looks like Atlanta can cut Cousins after 2 seasons when he’s 38 as a post-June 1 designation, they’d only incur $12M in dead money and gain $45M in cap savings. Penix would then start in his third season at 25 years old, they’d have some time with him before needing to get him on an extension.

*26 - He turns 24 in less than 2 weeks, not that it makes that much of a difference.

How long will Penix be happy on the bench? Cousins with his huge contract has to start the next few years right ?

He’s almost 24 already and if the “stat man” (Cousins) does his thing he may not be playing till he’s almost 28 not to mention wasting those all important “cheap” first 4 contract years! Good Lord! Thank goodness we’re not Falcon Fans!
