Problem is they’ll beat up on a few mediocre teams and finish middle of the pack and Bill isn’t aggressive enough to make a big trade to get his guy in the draft. So they’ll settle and convince everyone Bill is a genius for staying put and letting a guy fall to him.
It’s weird how everyone knows how untalented this team is and then loses their mind whenever the prospect of aggressively improving it presents itself.
We absolutely need to do whatever it takes. May not even need to be all the way to 1. Kc moved up for mahomes at 10 or something, Allen was at 7. Just go up and get the guy if he’s available. Mac ain’t it and it’s clear as day. A good qb would make the current offense respectable.
Zappe needs to come in( not that he is the answer either). You saw it last week when Jones was getting a ruffed up and NONE of his lineman came to his aid.
