Sure, sometimes very high draft picks turn out to be busts. Probably more often at QB than any other position. But being in position to take a swing is about as good as it gets. You are very unlikely to get an elite QB any other way.
Seriously, the most pessimistic Pats fan had us penciled down for wins vs. the Saints, @Raiders, Commanders, Colts (Frankfurt), and @giants with a L vs. the Bills ....
We should be 7-6 and beating down the Steelers RN....and be 8-6 with Chiefs, @Broncos, @Bills, and Jets in the final four weeks.....
