I did really hate the play calling after the batted-away interception. Granted he almost threw one that was entirely on him the next possession, we shouldn’t have gone full draw-play mode until two possessions later IMO. Would have liked to see a genuine try at moving the ball down the field and going for an another score. Seemed a little early.

Worked out though.
Could’ve mixed in a few relatively safe passes. I was okay with a conservative approach as they had switched up their defense from zone to man, I believe and our guys were struggling to get open.

But there was a drive where they just ran it up the gut three times. You’ve gotta throw it at least once.

Yes. Definitely would have liked to see them throw it more on 1st or 2nd down with a few of those post-INT possessions

keep juju
I don’t think JuJu is awful. He can be a perfectly capable #3 or #4 WR. I’d feel much better if we had a WR group of MHJ, Bourne, Pop Douglas and JuJu.

I really want Parker gone though. Last night was addition by subtraction, DP is a loser even he supposedly has rapport with Zappe.

I don't understand the Gesicki dynamic. I've seen him open and not even get a look.
Yip , no idea why he seems to be over looked ? something not quite working

Yup. The issue is the lack of a really solid number 1 and maybe even a competent number 2. Though I could see a scenario where we get a bonafide number 1, Henry is the #2, and the rest are just role players who can coast off that.

It's the same story as the last few years. We have 3's and 4's that can be mostly shutdown with very little special scheming by opposing defenses. We need a guy that demands some attention and can break things open

I do think Pop Douglas has potential to be a solid #2 target, provided you get an elite #1. Douglas gives me Welker/Edelman vibes, which isn’t to say that he is going to become a pro bowler or HOFer, I just think he is a good slot receiver. He just needs the right coaching and a strong supporting cast.

It is not "the" truth, it is "your" truth. It is disappointing you feel so combative when anyone disagrees with you. Disagreements are healthy and help everyone be better.
And once again, your reading comprehension fails you. Allow me to quote myself: from the very post in question: "I welcome disagreement, of course - this is a discussion site, after all."

Oh, and , as promised, go **** yourself.

Maybe there's a Pats' site for children. Look into it.

He could develop into that. I really wouldn't mind going into the season with MHJ, Pop, Henry and Boutte as our 4 primary receivers and have Elliot catch a little and maybe keep Juju or Rheagor to see if they can be an Amendola type.

THAT SAID.... none of that matters if you don't get a high priority guy who can open it up for everyone else.

WRs grow on trees in the draft. We have plenty of shots at getting a good one, even if it’s not MHJ. But whoever has been scouting receivers for us needs to be revoked of their duties.

It’s wild how Mac getting full starter reps in training camps and practice was “ill-served” and broken by Belichick, yet Zappe, who was made to sit behind him, released, put on a practice squad, then thrown into it this late in the season is looking serviceable.

Maybe Mac Jones is just terrible. In fact, I’m sure that’s it.

The dude is a dirty player, a bad player, he throws his teammates under the bus in a desperate attempt to maintain some non-existent value, and goes whining outside of the organization in national news-stories for his own vanity. There is literally nothing sad about him.

It’s embarrassing he was ever even allowed to stand where Brady stood.
This is silly, intemperate stuff. He is, it turns out, a man with likely-adequate skills and a fragile make-up. He might well have failed elsewhere, but Belichick's incompetence ensured that he would certainly fail here. Yes, he is not what we hoped, but in my mind your ugly hatred of him - not too strong a word, methinks - is a greater moral failing than his mere performative failings on the gridiron. At least he has an excuse. What's yours?

They grow on trees for teams not named the New England Patriots. I'm not even entertaining over thinking this, there's a layup WR. If we can't get a QB, just take him and save yourself the trouble.

You questioning my moral code while shilling for a player that slaps people in the balls after the whistle, and throws his teammates under the bus at press conferences, is utterly hilarious. Get better heroes.

Inquiring minds want to know .. do you have a philosophy book stuck up your ass? Or did you steal the Ken's thesaurus?

This place is starting to look more and more like Chiefs Planet everyday…

… don’t kill me just an observation

I swear, the Brady-hater-brigade that pretended mentioning his very name once he left for Tampa, despite winning us six Super Bowls and establishing his GOAT status in a Patriot uniform, would summon the second coming of Voldemort, will probably be unbelievably interested in following **** ass Mac Jones when he signs as a back-up quarterback waterboy with the Indianapolis Colts.

I legit want to know....

Read his posts. Who talks that way? ? ?
Rabid Mac Jones fans who were wrong about everything injecting themselves with enough copium levels to kill a herd of African elephants.
