Game Day Thread 2023 OFFICIAL GAME DAY THREAD: Week 3 - NE @ NYJ

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

First drive was 7 plays, 29yds - 48yd field goal by Ryland. Nice to see the Patriots get on the board early for a change.

Mac is going to have to adjust to our slow-ass WRs to complete a pass over 30 yards

Still no room to run the ball.

I somewhat like Parker, but he is a horrible deep threat. Many of Mac's interception come from deep shots to him. I am convinced he struggles to jump and that eliminates his height advantage.

Parker looked like he was running in quicksand on that route

I hated that 3rd down play to Parker, it's wet and windy just get the first down.

Just imagine what this Offense could do if it actually had decent WRs and OL

7 lost fumbles for Minnesota in just 9 quarters of play. Wow.

As I have said repeatedly, neither Parker nor JJSS will contribute significantly this year. "Experience" in WR's always comes with a problematic poison pill: wear and tear, loss of speed. I look forward to the day Bill figures this out.

I am still waiting for coffee. ****ing 9 minutes, drive away and it tastes like **** so I have to drive back.

"Did you make this coffee?"
"Yes"
"Can you get someone else to make the next one?"

Too mean?

No expert on field management, but would think a multi billion dollar industry could use more strategies to mitigate poor field conditions. Is it even raining there still?

Defense almost had one there...

If they looked lazy and careless, then it's cool. Otherwise I try to give the benefit of the doubt to most retail workers.

Damn, the dogs are right on Wilson’s ass today, I like it

Patriots defense looking solid early. That was almost an Int by Wilson.
