I haven't looked at other teams but we've drafted teammates 15 times under Bill. Idk that seems like a trend?

I think these guys are as good as any and think we could get proper value.

Pickett vs Brady .....


Next two year's the QB classes look very good. Next year's WR class will be on par with this years maybe slightly better. Great RB, Edge & LB class.

From the films I've seen he's not very movable, even when double-teamed. He just stands up the OLmen and LB's or in the box S's make the play or have the open lane, if there is one, to make one. It's just outstanding strength on his part. He could work on his leverage technique but I haven't seen too many weaknesses that jump out at you. He just smacks people around when he's one on one. He's not the greatest pass rusher but how many 330 lb men are? He played about 50 snaps per game and more than half were against the pass. It's more plays than Barmore gave us so he has some stamina. Not the same players I know I'm just saying he can go without having to come out every 3rd play or so.

I saw his draft and he's usually pretty good. I noticed he didn't have Booth going in the 1st which is strange...also had Dean, Karlaftis, Elam and Wyatt available when we picked.....if that is the scenario, I'm not sure we would go with Zion at 21....as @captain stone posted, we only selected one guard under Bill(Mankins) in the 1st and he primarily played T in college. I know it's a huge need, but I'm not sure if we're going that route in the 1st round.

Any one miss the good old days when the draft was only two days on Saturday and Sunday? I used to always make sure to have that weekend off from work and just lounge around the house with mags, coffee and then moving on to the beers getting nothing done but enjoying the f*** out of it.

Oh yeah I remember those daze... I still remember Chris Berman saying that he's gonna need a Brewski too just after the Pats selected Tedy Bruschi near the end of round 3 during a typically long Day One (5+ hour 1st round etc)...

I myself kinda like the 3-day format... Gives teams & fans a couple of nights to re-set their boards, do a little more research, prepare possible trades etc... I just wish that the 2nd & 3rd rounds had a couple of extra minutes between picks, and that the draft were conducted on Friday - Saturday - Sunday instead of Thursday - Friday - Saturday.

Lloyd graded out a little higher on my scale but personally, just my personal opinion. I like Dean a little more. Not trying to play both sides. Sometimes I'll really dislike a prospect and he grades out pretty high. Or vice versa. I try to take my opinion out as much as possible.

RD1 starts at 5pm. Take an hour break and go right into RD2. Call it a day after that. RD3 & 4 next day. 5, 6 & 7 following day.

If Jordan Davis is still there at 19, I would think we would have to inquire about a trade up....otherwise I'm thinking it's Booth/McDuffie or trading back a few spaces.
