I keep envisioning Brady with these 2022 Pats weapons and cant help but believe that the Pats would be back winning Super Bowls.

Like old times with the ball spread around to multiple receivers.

At least the Patriots can run the ball and wouldn't require your QB to throw 50 plus times every game (45 years old or not). So yes I could envision them being dangerous with Tom.

Reading the last few pages has confirmed something most of us already know i.e. there are those on here who hate on TB12 since he left AND those who get more up for TB12/Tampa Bay than they do the Pats. Both positions are weird. Maybe now Tampa have lost all eyes will now be back on the Pats (outside of the TB12 sub forums).

It's not that bad really. There's like 1 or 2 posters that are extreme on both anti TB/pro TB so it makes it look like that.
Me personally I'll always watch Tom play and root for the guy unless he plays NE or if he goes to Miami.

None of those teams are where they are now without their QBs. Take any QB out of the equation and its over for that team.

Brady never should have gotten Arians fired, he was clearly the brains of that outfit. They refused to run the ball in 2022 when that’s what propelled them to a ring in 2020. They looked like an offense run by their QB and a former QB at offensive coordinator. Pass, pass, pass… great way to go 8-10 on the season.

Stop blaming the talent around him, it was almost the same exact team that could have won a ring last season when Todd Bowles played press coverage in the final seconds. Coaching matters, all players need coaching… even the greatest of all time.

Their run game is absolutely ****.

I believe that the biggest thing they lost with Arians leaving is the accountability he brought. Arians wasn't afraid to call people out for their mistakes or being half-assed. He was good at keeping players in line and performing to a standard. He called Brady out on more than a few times.

I haven't seen that with Bowles, whatsoever. Firing Leftwich, while the right move, still won't change anything as long as Bowles is there.

Amazing how “a lack of elite talent” was only limited to the offense with horrible coaching. Meanwhile the defense with continuity in coaching gave up the 3rd fewest points in the league.

Running the ball takes commitment and the desire to punch opponents in the face. Tampa refused to run or commit to the run game.

Because as you always like to say, it's a team effort. Having a losing record just shows that the inspiring D efforts were just wasted. We can get into the details of the D performance, but the fact remains they weren't competitive against the better teams/QBs. Why? Lack of talent was the difference.

Kelce? Teams have to game plan around him, which leaves their receivers free to roam, and they are all fast as sh*t. You also forgot to mention Mahomes, which is a top 3 QB. Their OL? One of the best in the league. Their talent on the O side of the ball is exponential compared with ours and why they're the #1 seed.

On this we agree, but talent matters since those are the guys that execute. I always put it on the players execution >> coaching. That's why I don't give as much weight to our O coaching performance as many here do. There were many plays left on the field this season because of poor execution, be it by the OL, QB or receivers. Why? Lack of talent. Nobody is scared of any of our O weapons (aside from Rham).

They won't admit it, but there was Pats fans here and on Pats reddit back in 2019 and early 2020 that:

There's a big segment of Pats fans that for some reason truly thought that Brady was replaceable and that Belichick's "system" and "coaching " was worth the value of an elite QB. Now when we see that isn't the case, we keep on lowering the bar for Bill
