It’s unbelievable that some freakishly athletic 22 year old stud who can help us on the field can’t make the 53 because we refuse to cut clipboard holder Brian Hoyer and even gave him 1.7 guaranteed next year to do the same!
He should be CUT immediately and eat the cap

If you think he’s some sort of coach then make him one!!!

This thread is for Roster transactions. Not for bloviating about things that didn't actually happen. Hoyer didn't keep any "22 yr old stud" from the 53 man roster.

The Patriots can bring back a total of 8 people from IR in any given season provided the player sits for at least 4 weeks. I haven't heard the extend of Davis' injury, but with as quickly as they put him on IR I'm fearing the worst.

EDIT: It looks like Davis is scheduled for surgery. This may or may not end his season depending on what they are actually doing.
