Well, not looking good, but not dead yet. The pen and the defense have been rocky all year, and when the bats go quiet, it ain't pretty. Decent job by Sale, but yeah, one run ain't getting it done.

They can win 2 in Houston, but first have to win one. Scoring 12 runs would help, but 5 is more reasonable. Don't really want to see anybody but Eovaldi, Houck and Whitlock if it's tight. Can't be holding guys back, you do anything to win and then figure out game 7.

As soon as I made plans to go with my wife and brother + sister-in-law (Braves fans) to go to a WS game in Atlanta should both teams make it, the Sox take a big time dump.

Man, that's the other thing. Careful what you wish for and all that, but you gotta think the Sox would fare pretty well against Atlanta. Gotta get there first though.

Thought anything after beating the Yankees would feel like gravy, but now that they're close you want that 5th title this century.

Plus, a Houston/Atlanta world series would be brutal. Houston's hate-able, and that stupid tomahawk chop makes me want to kill somebody.

I used to live there in the 90s and congestion and traffic was a *****. Moved out of there because I could not deal with it anymore. I went back for the Rams Super Bowl and it's gotten way worse. I spent half my time sitting in traffic.

I feel the same way. The last two games they were dead. They look like a team that has nothing left to give. I hope im wrong. On the bright side. Hunter renfroe is a free agent this off season.

Yeah he’s been awful. I don’t think he’s a bad guy to have on your team, 800+ OPS, 30+ home runs, cannon of an arm, and by all accounts a good teammate. But it’s not gonna crush me if he moves on either

Hey, there’s still in it. But yeah, a game like the other day, your “ace” pitching…you know, it is possible for a team to win a playoff game 1-0, but not this one I guess.

In the end, I don’t think they’ll be quite good enough, but I would love to be wrong

MLB wants no part of this. I just think its funny how we were kicking their ass and then all of a sudden the whistling starts and they turn the tables. Cora needs to get the Apple iWatches out. Everything is fair game now
