it's the first time it's ever happened in the long history of MLB that a team has hit three salamis in a playoff series.

It actually started last year to brighten up a gloomy year, Varitek suggested to Kevin Plawecki that he come with a home run celebration and the laundry cart was the result. I think its great that non-roster player Jose Iglesias stuck around to be the designated pusher.

roberts was in town for a month. And the local sports media wants us to believe he's a 2004 redsox god. I don't think so.

I don't resent the attention given to Roberts but I do agree that more attention should have been given to others. That was a total team effort full of big moments from all of them. Even Belhorn chipped in. What a great series that was.

i say steal and score as many runs as you can. Unwritten rules are for the losing teams.

I remember pre-series talk about the superior Astros defense, So far Sox have zero errors while Houston has made three, 2 of which would have been double plays negating 2 grand slams.
