Don't know much about him. I know he is smaller and only had 7 receptions. What would be his role.
More like a Woodhead?
I think more Dion Lewis. Woodhead was a lot more comfortable running slot type routes past the line of scrimmage, while Lewis and Lindsay are catching more dump off type passes and getting the yards after the catch. I don't think they'd be about to line up Lindsay as a receiver in an empty set like we've seen from Woodhead, Vereen, Burkhead, White, etc.

I do think Harry is gone though. We're probably also going to have to pick just one of Asiasi, Keene, Izzo (keep in mind how much our staff is in love with Izzo despite him being good at nothing).
They heard you!

Patriots with another trade to the Texans:

Two Justin Colemans. That’s very aggressive.
Was supposed to be a link to the Robert Foster signing..

Busy catching up on the news of a murder down the street from where I live..

The fact Houston is trading for all these Patriots bust players feeds my belief these were of Caserios doing.
Poor Poor Houston

  • Really terrible GMing by the predecessors putting the new guy into a terrible position with regard to financial flexibility
  • Coaches and admins take players, even low end players, with them when they move
  • Depth and/or culture signings for a 4 win team
  • Wouldn't be shocked to find out the pick is conditional

The only example of a WR who was highly touted coming in, and failed miserably would be Chad Johnson. All the other misses have been rookies, career JAGs, or cut for off the field issues (Brown and Gordon). Sanu I guess would be the other, but that move wasn't exactly universally liked, and injuries played at least some role in that (on top of being put into an offense that was generally dysfunctional).

But even WR's that didn't light it up weren't BAD. Brandon Lloyd wasn't a triumph, but he didn't have trouble learning the system, he was just limited in what he could do. Same with Brandon Cooks and Donte Stallworth. I think the difficulty for WR's to learn the system here is real, but also overblown. Bill (right or wrong) just doesn't tend to invest as many consistent resources into the position as the average team. Like that note from 1991 said, he builds his teams from the inside out.
Reggie Wayne, Eric Decker, Demaryius Thomas, Donte Stallworth, Joey Galloway, Donald Hayes to name a few more.

There's no guarantee Agholor or Bourne don't follow the same pattern. Meyers is a proven player "in the Pats" system.

Stallworth was a solid player here. Not spectacular, but solid.

Nick is trying to get all of the pats players he chose to sign.
