Maye, McCarthy was my plan A.
I Harrison JR and drafting a QB later I thought Rattler wouldn’t get out of the third.
Hell of a value there for the saints.
But I think Maye is gamer just cause he’s a super nice kid from Carolina doesn’t mean he’s not tough and certainly doesn’t mean he’s not crazy talented.
I liked Spencer for a lot of reasons as well the number 1 losing his job to Caleb.
There’s a lot of guys who would lose their job to Caleb.

Stafford is tough as nails, but a super nice guy. Luck was tough too, but his body wouldn’t cooperate.

Unless the OL is solid and he’s spectacular in camp and practice… in that scenario he’d still backup the first 3-4 games (to gain more evidence that the OL is solid), barring an injury to Jacoby. All moot, because the OL is going to be garbage and Drake won’t be ready.
