I have a 3rd on HT & Mooney. Love Winston. Been talking him up all year.
SLEEPER: JOHN HIGHTOWER, BOISE STATE
Honorable Mentions: Darnell Mooney, Tulane & Easop Winston Jr., Washington State
I hate the whole “sleeper” debate as to who is getting draft hype and who isn’t, but I think a small-school prospect like Hightower — who only had 1,447 career receiving yards — qualifies. With 4.42 speed, Hightower was utilized most frequently as the deep threat in Boise State’s offense. That role almost did him a disservice, though, as he’s a far more complete route-runner than simply the vertical tree.

Agim might very well be the most athletic DT of the entire draft, a testament to his only recently former role as a DE...his 27 reps at the combine is also impressive, but I still question his natural stoutness...and we need run-stuffers more than we need gap-penetrators right now...
No but in the 3rd (that's where I have him graded) I think that's good value, no? I could see 4th, maybe I'm a little high?

Like you alluded to though. He's still learning, adapting & getting familiar to the position. What's he look like 2 years from now?

Agim in the 3rd - as in 3rd round? No f'n way, at least not for what we need...this is where I'm looking for Davon Hamilton or Leki Fotu...or Benito Jones a couple of rounds later...

Was speaking more to Agim's individual value as a prospect.

We need two gap run stuffers, aka 2 gap fatties!

Davis of Alabama
Fotu of Utah

Are the two best, but there are others.

Would prefer Davis but if Allen is not supposed to play NT than maybe Fotu cause Davis is more of a 3-4 DE than a heavy NT.

I hear ya, and yeah the 3rd-round buzz seems to be building for him now...If Bill had re-signed Danny Shelton, or signed Andrew Billings instead of Fat Thor, then I can understand if we looked harder at 3-techs like Agim, of which there are many in this draft...

Really curious what teams think of Brown. Like last year the IDL group is thin, esp for proto NT types. He could really help out and complement a bunch of teams but how high would they take him? SF, LAC, Jax and a few more would be decent landing spots but top 10-15?
I've always thought he falls a bit. Really curious what others think.

If Derrick Brown fell somehow to #23, I would send in his name in an electronic heartbeat.

From what I have seen, brown is not really all that athletic, but he is nfl strong and gets to the ball.

In the game against LSU, he threw the LSU guard into burrows for a sack. The strength that took was off the charts,

any team passing on him is making a mistake.

I know that play is still stuck on everyone's mind. Lewis has had trouble with power/bull rush so it wasn't that surprising. He actually played Brown & Davis, both more straight forward power players, pretty well.

That was just a great rep from Brown. Definitely won the leverage battle there.

really hoping Lewis ends up with the jets.

with Brown, it all comes down to how you use him. If you think he is the second coming of Donald, you will be disappointed.
If you think he is suh but without the mental baggage, then you have brown figured out!

Regarding Burrow, I wouldn’t go too far with the 1 year wonder thing. When lsu opened things up for him last year during the past 4-6 games he played very well

He was tremendous from start to finish. Best I've seen in that regard. From Southern-on he was unreal. Like 10 TD in first 2 games and 20 in first 5 I think. Texas always sticks out. He had like 2-3 spectacular plays that put him on the map.
