That hand pass non call is basically the NHL equivalent of the Rams saints non call, except the blues still have a chance whereas the saints went home (although I'm in the group that agrees the saints did plenty to lose that game aside from the bad non call)

Both are really unacceptable when it comes down to it.

There's one very obvious and quite serious difference on the hand pass not getting called. No official was in position to see it whereas there were 4 looking right at that PI. The only on ice official that had an angle on the hand pass had two bodies between him and the puck. That doesn't excuse the league office not jumping in to get it right but it's a hella difference from not calling that PI
