The Blues were simply the best team in the playoffs. Boston could not handle St Louis this series 5 on 5. They needed power plays to win games. That's not going to get you a Cup. In game 7, the refs ALWAYS swallow their whistles and that heavily favored St Louis. And I was right about Rask not being capable of winning a Cup.

Hard to blame Rask too much when we scored zero goals lol.

Great game by Binnington overshadowed by Game 5 joke. Can take hockey off the must watch list. I'll have a ton of free time when BB/Brady hang em up. Stopped sox after they hired Valentine. Stopped NBA after game 6 in LA for the 2nd kg finals. Kinda got into what they had going on last year in the playoffs. Deflategate, spygate-self explanatory.

Haven't bought any licensed stuff since being at the colts game where we ran it down their throats all night.

Even when the Bruins won, I never got the sense that they were in control of this series. The win in game 3 was a PP fest. Game 6 they got a few lucky breaks. Their top players were very bad 5 on 5.
