non of them were PUP'd?
For now, Marsh and McClellin are the guys...I think that will be Marsh.
mclellin for sure.......tossup between the other 2
Reports have been indicating that it is substantially more likely that VV is back this year and not MM.
I think you will see Van Noy doing some pass rushing too.For now, Marsh and McClellin are the guys...
Is that true? I know Reiss made what I thought was an off the cuff estimation and it took off like wildfire. Have you seen more than that?Reports have been indicating that it is substantially more likely that VV is back this year and not MM.

Sometimes these things take a life of their own. One guy speculates, another comments based on the speculation, and it spreads. I kinda think that is what happened here because I have seen nothing saying anyone is aware of the severity of Mitchells injury at all. Could be a good guess or a bad one, but i think it is a guess. I suppose we will find out soon enough. It has been all around beat reporters. Curran and Perry mentioned it during one of the QuickSlants. Giardi at some point did. But in the end it is just (informed) speculation based on locker room sightings.
Casillas was a special teams player here
Barely, so I don’t think he is any part of th answer.Mostly - he did have some longer down and distance coverage roles as well.
McClellin and Harris might have their roles expanded beyond what was initially expected of them, but I still wouldn't rule out a trade. In recent years we've seen several deadline moves : Talib, Hicks, Van Noy, Ayers - each of whom ended up contributing quite nicely.I can't imagine them finding a player at the deadline who's better than Harris or Roberts, and McClellin will be back in a few weeks. That's not to say those guys are superstars or anything, but they know the system and teams aren't exactly lining up to trade starting-caliber players to the Patriots. Maybe they should have made a bigger push for Bowman a couple weeks ago, though him moving across the Bay to the Raiders suggests to me that no other team was seriously in the running since he didn't have to move or anything.
If we're picking through old trash, Akeem Ayers is a free agent, but again - better than what they have? Probably not.

Julius Peppers please. You can't win a SB without a pass rush. Especially with Carr, Roethlisbergrr, and now Smith in the conference.
