It's interesting, I was listening to WIP (Philly sports radio) yesterday n they were talking Joe Haden. Though the Eagles r in big time need of CB help, the hosts were arguing AGAINST the Eagles making a play for Haden. Their argument was
To expensive
that at least last year, Haden was playing to avoid injury. They further argued that when the Eagles played the Browns last year, Haden was targeted n his play was apparently slip shod

The Chiefs 5th is more valuable than ours as well so we'd have to give up a higher asset. Too steep.

Lane's cap hit to the Pats for 2017 would be $4m (fully guaranteed). His cap hits for 2018 and 2019 are $6m per year (non-guaranteed).

I would definitely welcome Lane. At first I thought he would be mad being here after Edelman busted his arm in half in the Super Bowl, but I think the guy would probably feel okay getting here seeing the guy rehabbing a torn ACL. So it works out.
