I personally doubt it.

I think most boards are set for the most part at this point from an athletic POV - at least in organizations that trust their scouts. Don't forget that nobody really falls/climbs except in those weekly mock drafts of media experts. Combine is mostly a convenient place to have all your iviews because many relevant prospects are in one place.

Injury concerns, realistic possibility that Hightower will play this year on a franchise tag and even if we extend him you wanna have multiple beasts back there not just one. Finally, we have no backers who can drop into coverage and be at least capable doing so.

If we get the 2nd or 3rd overall pick by trading JG I'm on the Leonard fornette bandwagon.

With our system, I don't see the need to draft a wr in the first round.

Blount was productive but we know what happens to rbs when they hit 30, and he wasn't pretty ineffective in the playoffs/Super Bowl.


I like he thought of having a 3 down bell cow back for Brady, while having packages for Lewis and white. In 3-4 years when Brady hangs it up, having an elite talent like fornette will help our qb out a lot.


We would go defence or trade down though in reality.

Add to the fact that we don't even know for sure if our best is returning to us. Etheir FA or draft...LB depth/Talent is needed.
