I'm no Belichick and I easily could be wrong on this, but I always think of the consummate center personality as being extremely level headed and unflappable under pressure unlike the kind of fiery attitude you don't mind seeing from your guard or tackle.

Agreed. You don't want arguably the second most important player on offense, a guy who handles the ball every snap, to lose focus and do something stupid with the ball or something silly like jerk his head before every snap.

Guess it isn't just the players who are looking for fights. Apparently this is what the Bears PR guy said to Jeff Howe. Stay classy, Chicago.

Really confused, there has to be more details to that story

Some say that Andrews has had the edge to date, and the separation can only be greater after today. But the physical comparison is pretty one-sided, with Stork being the bigger, stronger specimen. Stork also offers greater flexibility, as he can play anywhere on the line. Reliability gets a huge value in Foxboro, however, so I would not be surprised to see Andrews get the nod, in which case Stork could be be a surprise trade candidate.

Reports are that Andrews came to camp with significantly more muscle mass, so perhaps he's been working to reduce that gap in size/power.

I can't imagine another team giving up anything for Stork given the concussion history, past and present.

So Loyko thinks that LeBlanc has a decent shot of making the team?

I wonder how that's going to work with J.Jones already considered "a lock" after one preseason game?

Maybe not a good time to buy stock in Coleman or Roberts?

Why are we doing joint practices with the Bears? I really don't get it. Should stick to doing them with coaches worthy of respect who have a demonstrated ability to control their teams. John Fox is not that guy, never has been.

Yea, that guy laying Edelman out on a non tackling practice drill is very telling of how little discipline Fox has over his team and also shows what a neanderthal that player is

Just don't understand the mindset.. what was that player trying to prove? That he can lay an unsuspecting player out with a cheap shot during a non contact drill?

Total rocks for brains.. bad enough he did it at all, but the fact that he did it to a star player that has produced in this league for a long time and is a key piece of the Patriots offense just adds extra sleaze to it

Maybe not a good time to buy stock in Coleman or Roberts?

I'd have to think that Roberts, LeBlanc, Jones and Biggers are battling for that last spot, but stranger things have happened.

Coleman performed quite well last year as a rookie and is having a halfway decent camp, so it's hard for me to think he won't make it.

Sheard now is a bit concerning to me. He tweaked something in the game last Thursday. They briefly checked his lower leg, but if memory serves, he returned to the game. But he has now missed three straight...color me unhappy with that.

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING the Pats would be cautious with their best pass rusher with a month still to go until the season

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING. Guess BB wasn't cautious enough, huh?
