After thinking about it, its not sitting well with me at all that they cut this kid.

BB should have cut Jordan Richards. KGH is the better athlete.

KGH
Height:
6021
Weight: 208
40 Yrd Dash: 4.45
20 Yrd Dash: 2.53
10 Yrd Dash: 1.52 225 Lb. Bench Reps: 15
Vertical Jump: 38 1/2

There are other factors Bill takes into account besides pure athleticism.

I totally acknowledge that. I don't think KGH is ready to play both SS and FS positions.

It just sucks when it seems that the kid made more plays in one camp than Richards has in two.

I think Richards is slow and takes bad angles to ball carriers still. Maybe I'm wrong about him but I dunna know...

Jonathan jones better ball out
There's plenty of reason to be excited about Jonathan Jones. This board generally liked LeBlanc a little better this summer, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if Jones ended up being a better corner long term. He definitely has lots of upside he can hit on - he just didn't flash it as much in his first training camp as LeBlanc did.

On the other hand, he's gonna help out on special teams big time immediately, which is great.

Acc to MCI, RB Bishop Sankey chose the Patriot's practice squad over 4 other teams. He has a good chance to make it in a few weeks if he can grasp the offense.

MCI actually stopped watching Hannah Montana reruns and did work?

OTH, I thought that Daryl Roberts has the best long term potential. Size, speed and leaping ability plus proper FORM.

Huge turnover, helped to cost them a game they needed.

Well its that but I really didn't see him more than what he is now which is a small guy who can catch a few balls as a 5th WR, run back some kicks and will never get better really.

Thats another cut that annoys me.

Is Justin Coleman really that much better than Daryl Roberts? Does Justin Coleman have more upside than Daryl Roberts?

Sorry but no way.

Might be special teams again that was the difference.

Bishop Sankey over David Cobb?
Sankey could be a star in this league if coached properly. He is the type of RB who gets better with touches and he didn't get many in Tennessee. The Titans were cleaning house they got rid of all the recent second and third round picks.

Rufus back is good I think. Would like to see him at some point

@ KGH ... actually happy he got to Philly ... was afraid he goes to Seahawks or Pitt or our division
Plus I really feel he's coming back, maybe even this year for the ring.
The Hawks would know what to do with him with Philly Im not so sure

@ D Roberts - since he was waived with injury designation Im surprised somebody would put him on 53. Then again its the Jets ...

The more I think about it the more it seems there was not much they could do to keep them. Unfortunately guys like King or Richards maybe even Coleman - that would easily clear waivers - were never on the bubble and I would hate it even more to lose Elandon or JJ because they can contribute and be a better back up immediately. Obviously BB really wanted to bring KGH back and I guess it will be easier at some point with his outside the norm measurables than with true potential LB/ST like E Roberts.

Only 3 signed to PS so far...Hated to lose KGH..thought he had potential.....

Gaffney IR again?????? WTF

On the plus side, our special teams this year should be rock solid.

I don't think any of those guys would easily clear waivers. King is a monster gunner. Richards (while I don't like him) is intelligent, knows both S positions and is good at ST. We know Coleman was picked up last year and overall is a decent DB. Someone would take him.
