He's probably a special teamer first and foremost. I saw someone look at his combine numbers as though he was a linebacker and his closest athletic comparison was Luke Kuechly. I think you draft him as a special teamer and then see how he fits on the roster after that.
Jerrell Adams with a 4.66 on his 1st 40 and then a 4.64 on his 2nd.
If he was sitting there in the 4th (or maybe even that Revis 3rd rd comp) can't say I'd be disappointed if the Pats drafted him
I know the 40 can be overrated, but is it just me or does it seem like the average WRs 40 times this year are "slower" than usual?
The Edelperson route?
Where does he project to go?
As a group, the wide receivers in this draft are brutally slow.
Hope bb has quite a few veteran free agents on speed dial!
So here's a question. Now bear in mind that I really like Sterling Shepard but a thought I can't shake is just how much of an upgrade is he over Keshawn Martin? Is he really worth a 2nd round pick when we'vevre-signed Martin for another 2 years?
No. I like Shepard also, but after this weekend im starting to feel drafting a WR in the 2nd rd this year might be bad value.
Agreed although I'd still take Braxton Miller or Josh Doctson if either were there at 60.
