Big plus for both Lucien and Mitchell: Both Mitchell and Lucien do a pretty good job adjusting to bad passes. That's good, especially going deep.

I think it tells us a lot more than that.

Tells me that they didn't really think the running back themselves were the problem last year, they believe the O-line issues were more than just Googs and that they may be regretting their guards they selected last year, but that they do think that Googs may have been responsible for Cannon's regression in performance.

Also says they felt they lucked out in CB injuries last year and needed more protection, and that they didn't really like their LB depth after the starters.

And the almost the entire receiving corps sans Edelman has competition now or was cut - they were not happy with their performance last year.
