I.e. If he received a settlement of half his salary he cannot sign with anyone until after 8 weeks. (The amount of the settlement is what the player and team agree the length of time the injury would keep the player out is)
To return to New England he must wait an extra 3 weeks. This is because goodell said the patriots cannot use this trick. J/k it's the rule for resigning with the same team that gave you the injury settlement.
Devin Street has been signed by the Colts from the Pats Practice Squad.

That's a shame, I think Street has some serious talent. They did have a bunch of receivers in for tryouts the last couple of weeks, hopefully they bring one of them back.
If they need to make room for a QB, why not just release Brandon King? He's less than useless.
But yet people seem cool with Matt SlaterThank your for your consistency. You show you usual lack of appreciation of special teamers.
Firstly - good job for keeping this going!
Secondly - slightly OT
Still sorry about Keshawn. Thought it was injury. He would be great backup WR/KR/PR.
Versatile, dependable. We would be all set there. Strange .. but anyway - good luck with 49ers
