Actually no. He has to edit the length of the injury settlement.
I.e. If he received a settlement of half his salary he cannot sign with anyone until after 8 weeks. (The amount of the settlement is what the player and team agree the length of time the injury would keep the player out is)
To return to New England he must wait an extra 3 weeks. This is because goodell said the patriots cannot use this trick. J/k it's the rule for resigning with the same team that gave you the injury settlement.
For the record Miguel has clarified this issue and my post was incorrect. See his above for the real answer.

Devin Street has been signed by the Colts from the Pats Practice Squad.

Colts have now had Boyce, Tyms, worked out Dobson & now signed Street all in half a year, all former Pats. I sense a pattern.

That's a shame, I think Street has some serious talent. They did have a bunch of receivers in for tryouts the last couple of weeks, hopefully they bring one of them back.

They have Devin Lucien and DeAndrew White for WRs. I personally feel that they need a development OT..

Yeah, another WR is going to help your turnstile OL, turnover prone QB, below average D, dysfunctional HC/GM relationship and buy Irsay another hit. Never change Indy.

If they need to make room for a QB, why not just release Brandon King? He's less than useless.

Thank your for your consistency. You show you usual lack of appreciation of special teamers.

But yet people seem cool with Matt Slater

So probably no Johnson on the PS...

Firstly - good job for keeping this going!

Secondly - slightly OT

Still sorry about Keshawn. Thought it was injury. He would be great backup WR/KR/PR.
Versatile, dependable. We would be all set there. Strange .. but anyway - good luck with 49ers
.

I understand the logic but he did pretty well here and it was a shame he was let go.

When you find a WR that does well here and TB likes him need to hold onto that guy as it happens about as often as a Solar eclipse.

Slightly OT - Rufus working out for Seahawks
