Yeah it is ridiculous but I think that Sam is smartly playing up the situation because it will give him opportunities and help strengthen gay rights in sports, and society as a whole.

That aside his reaction to being drafted could have won an academy award.

Many players cried, he was clearly the most emotional though if you were unable to recognize that I do not know what to tell you but do not attempt to portray me as saying something negative about the guy because I acknowledged that his draft selection reaction was very emotional and dramatic.

Maybe I read your words wrong, but you said he was deserving of an academy award. Which means either he was acting or it was overdramatic. There were actually a lot of other players who cried just as much. I didn't even watch the whole draft but I know in the first round there were players bawling for over 30 seconds with mothers and girlfriends rubbing their backs.
