I have 45-50 mile per hour winds, with drenching rains where I live. Some people in the area have lost their power, as could I. If that does happen I will not be able to watch over the mock draft.

This could be my last post of the day, if my power goes out. Anyways, if anything happens to my power someone else will have to watch over the mock draft while I'm gone.

Elsewhere and he might have the several inches of slushy snow that is screwing with people's driving and shutting down schools in my neighborhood.

In another mock draft I selected Brian Leonard here for the Falcons. He may be a bit of a reach, but he fills two potential needs at RB & FB. With the recent run on WRs they may also want to look at a future replacement for Lawyer Milloy. Brandon Meriweather presents a great value here.

driving is a luxury in my neck of the woods

When I went to bed last night he was my pick. I chose Sears as their line issues are even worse than having Crocker @ FS IMO. I also think there is a major dropoff after Sears in regards to OL talent (or maybe I should say NFL ready talent, as there are many intriging developemental prospects). I'll start him @ OT replacing our grand old man of the OLine. Down the road I think he is a guard.

Actually I stand corrected, We've got somewhat steady winds in the 45-50 mile per hour range, but we're having wind gust up in the 60-65 mile per hour range.

I'm just glad to see you didn't reach for a WR. In the other draft I'm doing I was able to get Dwayne Jarret at #39.

Just in case deadlines start rolling up and our fearless leader has lost power do we have a back up mod for the draft? anyone, anyone, Beuler??

I had a couple of directions to go here but felt Brandon was the bpa of carolina's needs. Saftey Mike minter has stated that this is his final year and choosing Brandon will allow him time to develop and gain strenght. he will start next season. Thought it was good value for a second round pick.

I agree. Good value, good pick. I know Meriweather has some "behavioural" issues but I think he's going to make some coach very happy in the long term.

:explative :enranged: My dream pick. Two picks away, slipping, sliding, falling just like my first round choice and then BAM!

Cold as ice

The Steelers Chose Brandon Siler LB Fl as he represents good value for his selection position. With the loss of Joey Porter bolstering the LB corps was a priority.

So, did you notify the next GM? I ask because I was going to do it myself.

Brandon Siler was my other option with Dan Morgans injury History I was chooseing between him and Harris who also has a injury history and not as much upside.

But with Weatherman still on the board I had to grab him
