not good for Crownover

I'm going to give them the benefit of thinking there's a built in trauma for Patriots fans and safeties they haven't heard of.And he got crapped all over when he was drafted.
Worked out really well for Bryant, he’s having a good camp in his 2nd year. They are probably going to try and put him on the Bryant plan.....you can't teach his size and athletic abilities.....just needs to get stronger and refine technique.
And yet he was the 10th highest graded corner in last year's draft. I'm just annoyed with myself that I didn't pick up on that. There's clearly something there with him. He also tested reasonably well. I'm surprised Brugler and others were so low on him.I'll also say most people, nevermind fans, aren't draft junkies, they only know what the mainstream media says, and in those channels he was a head scratching reach
I thought that was specific to the second round.I'm going to give them the benefit of thinking there's a built in trauma for Patriots fans and safeties they haven't heard of.
Manxman, you and a few others are the true draft experts on this board, I admire your draft knowledge. You shouldn’t beat yourself up on that. We all enjoy your draft prospect knowledge and write ups.And yet he was the 10th highest graded corner in last year's draft. I'm just annoyed with myself that I didn't pick up on that. Wake Forest wasn't on TV much last year. And yes, I'm being serious, they really weren't, they didn't play on anything besides very local stuff all year (I think they were on a ESPN broadcast when they got mollywhopped by Florida State, outside of that, they were relegated to regional CW broadcasts, and even had a couple of games not on TV at all), and didn't play the 'Big' ACC teams outside of Florida State (didn't play Clemson or Miami. And yet he was the 10th highest graded corner in last year's draft. As I recall, Prunty was also a head scratching reach among draft junkies.I'll also say most people, nevermind fans, aren't draft junkies, they only know what the mainstream media says, and in those channels he was a head scratching reach

Right, but he's a 6-2 corner who ran a 4.37 forty with a 6.82 3-cone who had the 10th best coverage grade on PFF (I know that has less value to you) and a decent run defense grade that plays for a big 4 team. That has to be worth more than the 50th best corner or wherever Brugler had him graded. I'm just surprised he was so badly missed on by the draft pundits because that size, athleticism and resume is definitely worth a day 3 pick in my mind.Wake Forest wasn't on TV much last year. You either have to be a weirdo that watches a lot of ACC football (me), or send actual scouts to these games.
Looks like 4 years, but that is a BB draft. Different subject. How long are we giving Pop Douglas?
And really shouldn't have been. See my post above. As I recall, Prunty was also a head scratching reach among draft junkies.
fair enoughAnd really shouldn't have been. See my post above.
No. The starters are the same as last year but the depth is concerning. And the future even more concerning.Does anyone feel better about our ILB's?
Rhamondre StevensonBest Patriots 4th rounder since....?
I think @captain stone and I have spoken on this.. lost in the woods may not even make the roster.. prunty & valdor seem to have surpassed him on the depth chart..Not a Woods fan.
