NFL Week 10 Odds, Predictions and Picks against the spread

John Morgan

NFL Week 10 has plenty of interesting story lines. On Sunday night the Patriots travel to their house of horrors, Denver's Mile High Stadium. The Pats are 2-6 since 2005 in Colorado, and 4-18 in the Rockies since 1969. Despite that alarming trend the Patr

Just noticed that the over/under is down from 46.5 earlier in the week to 44 now.

The spread has been volatile this morning.
... Seven of the books listed on oddsshark.com have gone from Pats-7.5 to Pats -7.
... One went from Pats -8 to Pats -7.5, and one went from Pats -7 to Pats -6.5.
... Two others dropped from Pats-7 to Pats -6.5 and then back up to -7 over the course of about four hours just this morning.

Interesting to note that the announcers for today's primary CBS game will be Greg Gumbel and Trent Green. Relatively few will have to endure listening to Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts. One can only hope the latter have been permanently demoted.

CBS Week 10 Broadcast Distribution

Red: Pittsburgh at Indianapolis ... Greg Gumbel, Trent Green
Green: Chargers at Jacksonville ... Andrew Catalon, James Lofton
Yellow: Jete at Tampa Bay ... Kevin Harlan, Rich Gannon
Orange: Cleveland at Detroit ... Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta
Blue: Houston at Rams (Late) ... Ian Eagle, Dan Fouts
Brown: gets both LAC-JAX and HOU-LAR

Saints at Buffalo should be an interesting early game to watch.

Fox Early

Red: Green Bay at Chicago ... Thom Brennaman, Chris Spielman
Blue: Minnesota at Washington ... Kevin Burkhardt, Charles Davis
Green: New Orleans at Buffalo ... Kenny Albert, Ronde Barber
Yellow: Cincinnati at Tennessee ... **** Stockton, Mark Schlereth
Gray: No Game due to local team at home on CBS

Football fans in CT and VT are being subjected to cruel and unusual punishment later this afternoon.

Fox Late

Red: Dallas at Atlanta ... Joe Buck, Troy Aikman
Blue: Giants at 49ers ... Chris Myers, Daryl Johnston

Might be the only time i ever root for the dolts.

Saints at Bills, and Vikings at Washington football team are the most interesting for me.

There's also the Chargers jaguars game. Probably will watch Bills game.

Watching the Saints/Bills....hoping for a Saints win obviously

Jeesh, McCoy had a huge run !!

Rooting for the Colts and Saints today....Also the Bucs, probably too much too ask for any of these teams to win, but let's see!!

Did the Bills get new turf for this season? Looks like a turf used in indoors.

Saints getting gashed up early in the running game.

FG attempt for the Bills.....Saints run d did not look that impressive on that drive

According to one site, 69% of the money on spreads has been on New England, with only 31% on Denver to cover. The only games today with more of an imbalance are Pittsburgh (75%) over the Colts and Rams (73%) over the Texans.

Given the way the Rams have been playing and Houston with Tom Savage at QB, I can understand that disparity. The Steelers have played so poorly so often on the road though, I wouldn't count on them to cover that 11 point spread, even as bad as the Colts have been.
