It’s based off the damn Benedict book which Kraft LITERALLY gives out as party gifts. You really think it’ll be some controversial expose?
Kraft is an artiste.

Just talked to someone very closely involved with this project. I don’t want to say much, but based on the very high quality of their prior work it should be amazing, and they said there will be lots of new revelations and footage we haven’t seen before. They have lots of access that Kraft has given.

This will be really good that’s a neuronet guarantee.

When's it come out?

Between Tom vs. Time, Man in the arena, A football life, America's game x 6, the Brady 6, Three games to glory and a hundred other shows, it's hard to believe that they'll find anything new to show us at this point. But I'll tune in and watch Mo Lewis, tuck rule, 28-3, Malcolm go, etc., all over again.

Classic (let he who has ears hear)
A Krafty Bob Documentary.... will it have an episode on Krafty banging his 30 year old skank while Myra was still warm? Or perhaps kraftys rub n tug adventures?
Tune did a decent job on this wretched comment, and if I weren't a blowhard I would just cosign and be done with it. But...

1) I don't know the ghoulish details you're talking about regarding Myra being warm while Kraft was looking for something else. But I'll actually say, what if he was? Well then, let's decide what you did in that position.

I guess Myra was in her late 60s when she died of ovarian cancer. I don't know how long she was suffering from it, So since you can judge him you know the right behavior. When your wife was 68 and suffering from ovarian cancer, how did you two handle it? Oh that didn't happen? Then stfu.

But if it did happen -- what was your personal and particular arrangement with her? How does that differ from the private conversations b/w the Krafts? Oh you don't know their personal arrangement? STFU.

Or are you just being the most ghoulish jackass in pimpledom and making a moralistic judgement on Kraft when you don't know him/his wife's deal whatsoever? Then STF all the way U.

On the "30 year old skank," when did you meet her? How did you get to know her deepest inner self? How would you characterize her lifie philosophy? Is she kind? What's she really like, assuming she''s not a made-up figure, which assumes facts not in evidence, since you're totally regurgitating gossip mill blather.

I guess he seems to have been a patron of a massage parlor that is not all about deep tissue massage etc., wahhhh boo hoo on that too.

The only thing you "know" about Kraft is he's a rich old guy who owns the Patriots franchise. That's what he is to you, the guy who foots the bill for, and sometimes provides the corporate guidance to, the Patriots. The guy who managed to hire Belichick. The guy Brady walked up to, carryng a pizza, and showed his confidence to saying "I'm Tom Brady, and I'm the best decision this team ever made" (or whatever the exact quote is.) That's what Kraft is to you.

My thing is he's got a much more public life than you'd think he wants, and he's had some unfortunate, embarassing moments. Big deal. But what you're doing here is pure hate, boiling down a real human being who's brought New England a great football product for decades to a few stories that would embarass him or anybody.

That said, that's fine to have a laugh-at-the-old-guy-being-a-human thread, but here you're throwing it out as a bitter, hateful reason not to let him celebrate the great honour of his life, which is the ability to bring you and all of us the greatest dynasty in the history of the NFL.

All you classless P.O.S.s who like to **** with me because my wife is dying, also STFU preemptively.

+1 on Severance especially
I do hope that there is more to learn about this story, but yeahhh I can go for yet another angle on just how cool it's been to be a NE fan.

You won't learn anything qualitatively new obviously (i.e., anyone who frequents this forum knows the big picture details of all the things). But you will see footage that has never been released (Kraft has given them access to the vault so to speak), details that have definitely never been brought to light on the topics that we have hashed over to death. And the production quality will be top notch, if history is any indicator.

Maybe 15 minutes on his favorite Keds
Ah Keds, my first sneaker.....and EVERY kid's first sneaker, at least in my neighborhood growing up.

How long will it be exclusive to Apple +. I see a lot of stuff that USED to be exclusive to some streaming service that eventually ends up on some cable channel or steaming service I subscribe to (Prime in case).

Anyone know how this goes?

Growing up in Chicopee, with its big Uniroyal plant, I got my new Keds every May, at the factory store. Thankfully, they didn't cost $100.

The Kiam years were crazy, but for a true, long-lived negative dynasty the Billy Sullivan decades are definitive. One could say that the perspective on the Belichick/Brady era of greatness has been enhanced by those decades of futility.

The fact that it’s made by Apple TV+ means a lot. This will be top tier

Comments:

1.) Apple TV+ has some really good content. Well worth the $5.99 or whatever it is now (you get it free for a year after purchasing any iOS product BTW).

2.) Saw "Tom vs. Time" and "Man in the Arena"....wouldn't say that stuff was "earth shaking", but I enjoyed it all BECAUSE it about MY TEAM...and I can't believe that we are so fortunate to have a dynasty worthy of these shows. Do Jete fans have anything other than Hard Knocks or NFL Films footage from 1969?

3.) Also read Benedict's "The Dynasty"...a lot of interesting tidbits that I'd forgotten about as well as some new info like:

- After we won in week 18 @ Carolina in 2001 (the 9/11 postponed game)...on the team's charter flight back to Boston...the team learned that the Jets delivered us a BYE by beating the Raiders. And immediately, Kraft placed a call to HALT the demolition of Foxboro Stadium.

- Good tidbits about Kraft working with Chase bank to secure funds to buy the team.

- Tidbits about Victor Kiam, James Orthwein, Stan Kroenke, and the politics of ownership.

Most of the book was centered on Kraft and characterized Kraft as buddy-buddy with the players but Belichick as coldly professional and clarifies a lot about the inner workings of the holy trinity between Kraft (father), Brady (son), and Belichick (the holy ghost)!

4.) And the series will be directed by Howard along with Apple's high budget quality.....gonna be good for sure. I mean I never tire of watching stuff like 28-3 (the Apex of the dynasty, IMO).....

"The Patriots- The Flutie Era of Greatness"

As horrendous as it was...on the field there was such potential.

Kiam is first; however Pat Sullivan must be included in culpability for treating Flutie like trash, leaving the team with nobody except a last-season broken down Grogan at QB, and hiring the likeable but completely unqualified and inappropriate Rod Rust.

It’s a docu-series based on the Kraft ghostwritten book by Jeff Benedict so dont expect much.
As usual, any attention to the team prior to his ownership will focus on derision and poor decisions. Yes, his predecessors had some serious issues.

He waves his flying elvis flag. He spent the money. He's entitled to do whatever he wants.

Thanks for buying the stadium lease, buying the team, working with Roger to keep it here, and hiring Belichick. Thanks.

Pat Sullivan was horrible. Bean-counting buffoon

He had his boo boos, but have to credit him with the Berry hiring.

Berry was exceptional, highly effective, an undisputed winning coach.

Not perfect. Hit his ceiling hard in the Super Bowl. I think he did not have the head coaching experience necessary. He was, like just about everybody, a bit star struck by being in the Super Bowl. Us? The lil' ol' Patriots? When it comes to the final, you have to take it away from your opponent.

And he just really, really liked Tony Eason. A lot.
Bean-counting buffoon
Most of those beans were paid to Eason
Tidbits about Victor Kiam, James Orthwein, Stan Kroenke, and the politics of ownership
As the lease holder, he had to work with them, and I understand any animus Robert has. I would say that Kraft is the NFL owner most motivated to do things right, responsibly. And when he said after spending a record amount to buy the moribund franchise, "We want to bring a championship to New England", he really meant it.

His brilliant decisions outweigh the Krafty Bob stuff.
