1. Ridley was rated a heck of a lot higher by NFL teams than by most amateur draftniks.

I think this is absolutely true.

1.) Ridley was a team captain.
2.) Ridley did not have a lot of wear and tear on the tires and he excelled in the SEC as a junior.
3.) Ridley played a lot of ST at LSU.

Someone was going to overdraft Ridley, I am glad it was us.

PS: He still carries the ball a bit too loosely for me, but hopefully the coaches will fix this.
