No you're correct, I was wrong about the Stokes playing for Pats thing. He played for the Giants and was cut after 2 games. I guess I got them confused because earlier in the season Dan Foutes was talking about how he missed out on a chance to get to the super bowl so I just switched the teams...
Weird how great QB's have recievers that end up catching a lot of passes and end up in the hall of fame discussion. Kinda like Montana/Young (Rice), Manning (Wayne/Harrison), Elway (Smith), etc.
Also weird how when Brady has had top recievers/ TE's show up on his roster he has had success and...
I really am not trolling. I don't know why my points aren't valid and havent been told why they aren't. All i hear is complaining for you guys about how I have an opinion that differs from yours and therefor must be stupid and as a result should be banned. I don't think that's fair.
You sight 2 irrelevant plays in the 3rd and beginning of the 4th quarter that had starters in. Congrats, but the plays where Pitta gained 61 yrds, the defenders were Boldin and Tony Carter, both back up Corners. AND the LB was Trev whose a back up/ Nickel LB.
I appreciate your statistics, and you are correct in your assumption that Brady is a great QB. However, your statistics tend to point towards the idea that Brady is reliant upon his team. You say that in 2006 and 07 Brady didn't have houshold names at the WR position which is true. But perhaps...
Not dumb nor trolling. Although I am kind of lackadaisically expressing opinions because I'm bored. Don't get me wrong, I think Brady is good and works well for you all, but he's had it comparatively easier than great QB's like Manning, Marino, and Montana. Plus his name doesnt start with an "M"...
Denver averages 320 days of sunshine a year. On top of that there have only been 9 snow games in Denver in the last 8 years. Plus Manning is playing BETTER with a glove on his hand that he has been wearing to adapt to the cold. (More grip+Less wobble and more accuracy and velocity)
This is circular logic, to answer this comment I'll refer you back to broncosgc's comment:
and add this... The Pat's didnt pull their starters in the 4th vs the Broncos. They never do, they are known running up the score for a reason.
Brady plays in the greatest system of all-time. He's a great quarterback, he throws the ball well, has poise and accuracy, and has had plenty of success.
But...
Ultimately, he is somewhat a puppet of BB, plays consistantly with some of the best recievers in the game. Has AMAZING TE's to dump...
Agreed, but it seems that they like to troll as well. With comments like:
and...
Anywho, this debate will continue until we almost inevatably meet in the AFCCG, and I guess its already started since it's pretty clear who will be there.
Bro, don't be annoying on other's boards. Denver fans know about the sence of arrogant invincibility that NE fans carry, but is probably because theyre annual competitors. That doesnt excuse them from shortsightedness but also doesnt give you an excuse to be obnoxious.
1. Correct, but you conveniently left out that they had won 2 in a row and were playing their best football. They also followed up the loss to us with 3 straight wins, including giving the falcons their first loss. At this time the Saints were a team that were in the hunt.
2. Your Bucs point...
1. Really?... and Tom Brady hasnt?
2. If you really watchd our boards you would have seen that 7/10 people didnt like Tebow, but they liked winning.
3. NE will play Houston, we wont because we play lowest remaining seed, unless of course Houston beats NE in the divisional.
Hi everyone, Broncos fan here. Thought it might be fun to have some fun discussions over here. From my obviously biased perspective i cant disagree more.
The Broncos DID have an easy conference schedule, but so do the Pats. In fact, they might play in the 2 worst conferences in the league...
