No QB is perfect DC's will take notice.No. He misread the coverage but the throw was Doubs at the top if he read it right.

He misread the coverage. He made the right throw if it was what he read. If he had read it people the throw was doubs up top. That even Ray Charles can see but Checkdown Charlie couldn't.
Every qb misreads a coverage now and then. The chances of seeing that coverage with that disguise against the same play call again is miniscule. No QB is perfect DC's will take notice.
We were in every game almost until the end last season; except for the SB after the Half *knew we weren't wining *. That said; Vrabel has shown he can have them Prepared. Going to Need solid plays to keep it close against Jags and Buffalo on the Road...any given Sunday.Every qb misreads a coverage now and then. It’s not an inherent issue, it’s a one off mistake.
I'll push back just a little on this. If you're just counting last year - yes. However, if you're including Wednesday into your evaluation, he was anything but. Every throw over 15 yards was horribly underthrown. If drake played Checkdown Charlie we become a .500 team at best.
Why do you insist on turning the best down the field thrower in the league into Chad Pennington?
We won 16 out of 17 from week 4 through the AFCCG. The main reason was preparedness it was Drake Maye. With an average Qb we were a 6-11 team.We were in every game almost until the end last season; except for the SB after the Half *knew we weren't wining *. That said; Vrabel has shown he can have them Prepared. Going to Need solid plays to keep it close against Jags and Buffalo on the Road...any given Sunday.
He is what he is. He hasn’t changed.I'll push back just a little on this. If you're just counting last year - yes. However, if you're including Wednesday into your evaluation, he was anything but. Every throw over 15 yards was horribly underthrown.
I dunno Andy, looked a lot different on Wednesday. I don't even mind the high-risk throws, if he can get it there, everything way way, way short. The AJ Brown PI should have been a walk-in touchdown. The Doubs pick should have been a hole-shot on the sideline which he hit a dozen times last year. The pick to Douglas was late and short over the middle. The pick to Hollins should have been on the back pylon, again, it was short. He is what he is. He hasn’t changed.
They looked so familiar like to former #10. Out of body experience for Maye??I'll push back just a little on this. If you're just counting last year - yes. However, if you're including Wednesday into your evaluation, he was anything but. Every throw over 15 yards was horribly underthrown.
I trust the Drake AJ: just protect the Football tough to overcome Three Turnovers. We won 16 out of 17 from week 4 through the AFCCG. The main reason was preparedness it was Drake Maye. With an average Qb we were a 6-11 team.
We saw an entire season of arm talent. One game doesn’t override that. Do you think he forgot how to throw?I dunno Andy, looked a lot different on Wednesday. You can say 'he hasn't changed', it sure looked a lot different.
Ah ok then, have a good one.We saw an entire season of arm talent. One game doesn’t override that. Do you think he forgot how to throw?
Doubs throw wasn’t underthrown. Hollins throw never should have been made because it was a very tough throw and he was falling away.
The Douglas throw was fine he just never saw the safety coming from the other side of the field.
**** happens. Can’t cry about just move on.I trust the Drake AJ: just protect the Football tough to overcome Three Turnovers.
Cool but it hits doubs in the hands in stride of not picked.Ah ok then, have a good one.
Post 3.
And that’s the problem. He hasn’t changed and defenses have figured out his kryptonite. He is what he is. He hasn’t changed.
And we win every game if the defense isn’t playing.Cool but it hits doubs in the hands in stride of not picked.
That is ********, Sam.And that’s the problem. He hasn’t changed and defenses have figured out his kryptonite.
Is that what I mother-f*cking said ***hole. And we win every game if the defense isn’t playing.
SMH.
And the INT was underthrown. And you responded with a comment less insightful than “if we score more points than the other team we win the game”. One that has nothing to do with whether it was underthrown, btw.Is that what I mother-f*cking said ***hole.
He said the pass was underthrown. THAT is what I was responding to
