DRAFT DAY DISCUSSION 2026 NFL Draft: Day 2

Whoop! Whoop!

Brugler had him ranked at 49, Jeremiah at 50 (I believe), McShay at 31.
I am not saying he isn't worth pick 55. He is. But McNeil and probably McCoy were better prospects. McCoy maybe not cause of his injury situation.. but McNeil would clearly be the better value pick.

Understand some having a little bit of hesitation with giving up picks to move up. However, our 2 biggest needs were T and Edge. We did what we had to do to not be left out at those positions. Two great picks imo.

Overall draft grade for this year so far is good. B+ on both picks. Hit needs and both were worth the pick and trade capital. Overall the key to the draft is usually your first 2 picks... hard to not call it a success based off how they played out.

The only reason it isn't in the A range is I don't believe either were steals for their draft pick slots. And the fact we went into the draft with such glaring needs forced our hand a bit, which i didn't like.

Ouch. That's a tough pill.
I kinda of love having the conviction to trade up for a target you really want.

You end up with Cyrus Jones, Ras I-Dowling ect when you trade down and treat a pool of players like they are all inter changable in a 10 pick range.
