Because every other patriots scandal has been a distraction. The fact that there's multiple sex scandals the last decade isn't great news.

Getting a new training facility and being on hard knocks was what we fans were supposed to be talking about now instead of vrabel being at an isolated expensive couples retreat.

Think of this as a warmup for that. Or a promo teaser.

Hopefully with a message about how everybody on the team is in a high profile role with the spotlight always on them, so they should be well behaved and extremely careful not to do anything stupid that might bring embarrassment to them and the entire team.

His biggest asset as coach is his experience. Now he can speak from experience about things like Stef’s pink bath salts cruise photos etc.

I count exactly one "sex scandal", and that's from the owner.

And saying that the Catholic Church is the largest child molester organization in human history isn't hyperbole, it's a just a fact. And just like the Epstein files there are many people who pretend to be highly moral " good people" working their asses off to protect the child moledters. It's as disgraceful as it gets.

April 23rd cant get here soon enough. Watching these threads running in circles is exhausting. I don't like the image of the incident regardless if harmless or not. Its noise/distraction no matter how you slice it. Vrabel must do what he preaches, which is protect the team and get this in the rearview mirror and start preparing for the season. That's it for me on this one......come on draft!!!!

I do think that’s what will happen - the draft will come, media will bring this up and he will say something to the effect of “that was nothing, I’ve already addressed it with the outlet who published, I’m focused on the team” etc and new actual football news will quickly take over.

And if you zoom in on that picture, it just looks....off. I don't think it's real.

But yeah, even if it was, that's not a story.
