Player Signing Patriots sign CB Kindle Vildor

That's the Smokey and Sparky I know.
Couldn't you at least have posted a pic of Daisy Duke instead of Jackie Gleason?

Alex Austin from 2025 to 2023:
Snaps 144,234,216
PFF: 42.2, 61.1, 62.0

Kindle Vildor from 2025 to 2023:
Snaps: 164, 316, 388
PFF: 59.3, 46.7, 49.0

Will battle UDFA and draft picks for a spot on the roster.
and Dial I would think

good competition. Im interested to see what dial can bring after seeing him in limited work end of year 1. Woods seemed to at least not prove a complete liability like Austin was last year. think between these 3 we may be able to field cb4 and 5, but i expect a lower rd pick and some more signings.

Gotta love when you make a fool of yourself.

Last 3 years:
2023 - 11 completions allowed on 20 targets for 154 yards and 2 TDs , 2 Passes Defensed, 1 Forced Fumble
2024 - 11 completions allowed on 25 targets for 140 yards and 0 TDs, 3 Passes Defensed
2025 - 13 completions allowed on 22 targets for 186 yards and 3 TDs, 3 Passes Defensed, 1 Interception.

No. He's not how Alex Austin was in 2025.

You could have saved yourself looking foolish had you just looked at Pro-Football-Reference

This is clearly someone who did Terrell Williams knows from Vildor's time in Detroit.
Ok. Thanks for the information. If he makes the practice then you'll be a genius..

He has better chance of doing that then you being a genius..

Alex austin was cb4 all year.
This guy's better.
I agree that this guy is better, but Woods was our #4 for much of the year. Woods was claimed after the final cut.

Austin has ZERO defensive reps after Game 4.

Austin had no ST reps after Game 12, injured I believe.

Man, I'm falling behind in my NFL knowledge. Bunch of new off-season signings... and I'm mostly like Butch Cassidy...

A friend's wife would find him in whatever bar we were at. They started calling her Lord Baltimore.

*SMH*

Too bad for you that I have a genius IQ.

Maybe stick to worshipping other teams scrap WRs than trying to insult people..

Those 2025 numbers on 164 snaps played are awful. They translate to about
85/143/1200/19 TDs playing full time snaps.
Not that he ever would, but it gives perspective.

Not seeing the reference with Smokey and Daisy, but here you go.

I have no idea, I think from what I read Vildor is slightly better in 2025 but Austin is 24 years old and Vidor 28 so unclear who is better going forward since Austin might have upside left. Hopefully snaps are limited and it won't matter.

Yeah I mixed up my Southern car chase shows.
Mighta been on purpose so you'd post a shot of Daisy. Not for me- I was just thinking other posters would enjoy it.

Anytime you're a CB that has a projected stat line that someone could confuse for a very productive year at receiver, you know you're bad.

No, Andy. They're not awful, you senile tool. Clearly you don't understand that a 59% reception rate is good for a 4th CB.. It's significantly better than Alex Austin's 10/13 (76.9) or Charles Woods 7/10 (70%) or Marcus Jones 44/58 (75.9%). At not point did I suggest that Vildor is a potential starter. I was contradicting @Real fan 02 's claim that he was a 1st Down Machine ala Alex Austin.. Austin of the 76.9% completion rate.

Next, It's moronic that you picked out Riley Moss and his 802 Pass coverage Snaps to claim "it gives perspective" when Moss had the absolute MOST coverage snaps in the NFL and the most Targets.. There are MULTIPLE problems with you doing that. The first is that you used MOSS 802 Coverage Snaps and 125 Targets. Those are MOSS' numbers including the play-offs. His regular season numbers were 727 Coverage Snaps and 114 targets. Again, the MOST in the NFL. So that hardly "gives perspective". Particularly when Carlton Davis, the Pats Corner with the most Coverage snaps, had just 572 during the regular season. THAT is who you should have used instead of Moss.

572/124 = 4.61.

13 x 4.61 = 59.93 = 60
22 x 4.61 =101.42 = 101
189 yards x 4.61 = 871.29 yards = 871 yards

3TD x 4.61 = 13.83 TD = 14TD

THOSE are the numbers you should have come up with for "perspective". Not comparing it to Moss who had 27% MORE snaps than Davis.

But, we all know why you did it.. Because you can't stand the Pats making moves you don't care for. So, you'll do whatever to make it look bad even if it means making an absolutely moronic comparison and lying about the numbers.

To be fair, the numbers don't account for game situations. Any time a depth CB is put in the lineup, the offense focuses on attacking that player. Even starters will give up some plays under those circumstances. In this case KV is not as good as a starter so the numbers will look bad. Even with limitations I think this is a smart signing, CB can get wiped out by injury so it can't hurt to have extra depth at the position.

Ugh. Here we go again with your ignorance name calling and general anger toward life.

The dude played 164 snaps. 164 x 6 1/2 is about a full season of snaps.

Where you made up Riley Moss I have no clue.

But it’s great that you think comparing to a sample size of 10 targets is good analysis.

It’s great that if he only played about 80% of the snaps his numbers only translate to 14 Td passes

Laughably you accuse me of being negative about the patriots.

As I said it’s a rudimentary calculation, but it’s a way to scale his production to a familiar sample size.

Wow this thread went sideways when is this Stiffs Hof induction ceremony??
