That doesn't make sense. Diggs is primarily in the slot and medium range. Pierce is a deep ball guy. Also different sizes. Would love to see them re-sign Diggs but obviously the contract needs to be fixed.
I think Messidor could go before Bain, he crushed the combine. There are a couple of """"contenders"""" picking higher in the draft than usual this year.
Diggs will probably get more than some people think.
If Mesidor falls to us and also re-sign Chsisson, I'd be good with that.

We signed Tonga off his couch for $2.2M. Can't give $2M guys a $21M contract. I like Tonga and wish him all the best, but we draft someone on Day 3 to replace him plus another veteran FA.
That would be too much $$$$$$$$ tied up in Wide Receivers. Diggs was already on the Books for well over $20 Mill and He and Pop are not the traditional Slots we are use to. A possible A.J. Brown Trade is not Dead yet: it's on life support.
