I like the Dremont Jones acquisition ESPECIALLY if the guy on the opposite side of the line is a beast. Obviously the second half of that is the more difficult, but we saw in the super bows how a defense that gets in your face is such a problem.

WR were part of the problem. There is a reason why WR is one of the most paid position in football.

But apparently for you it’s fine to roll #3s out there and Drake Maye will save the day. I just disagree with this philosophy.

No one was saving the day behind that line as it was constituted last year.
If you want to complain about *that*, I'm with you.

Wide receiver is so far down the list of priorities that need to be filled on this team for me - slightly higher without Diggs, but not a LOT higher.

Meh. WRs were running open in the playoffs. It was just Maye was under duress and sped up his reads. He didn't see a bunch of wide open guys in the SB.

I'm more worried about OL, DL (edge specifically), TE, and probably LB after Tavai's release than I am about WR. Receiver is certainly a need but it's not like they have none, they just need a guy at the top, but they don't exactly grow on trees. Even if they don't fix it this year but they can fix almost every other spot, they'll be OK and they'll probably spend draft picks on it too. Rome wasn't built in a day, or even a year.

I think they need a linebacker - Tavai moves the needle 0% to me, he could barely get on the field ahead of special teamers/practice squadders.

I still want to see some addressing of the secondary as well.

LB a sneaky big need. Spillane falling apart, Gibbens slow, no one else worth mentioning. If Allen somehow falls you gotta take him at 31

We should definitely be able to add some linebacker depth here in FA. Devin Lloyd (stud), Quay Walker, Leo Chenal, etc

We need to help Drake Maye and take the pressure off of him. Whatever the mean. OL, WR

Signing Doubs isn’t doing that. It’s a move to say we did something.

Right now, the weapons are worse even if we were to add Doubs and the OL is worse. The TE room isn’t looking great either.

Walker was elite at GA. Honestly surprised he hasn’t done much as a pro . Seems the talent is there.
